Terms of Service for HanimeKai

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you," the "User"), and Knightocraft ("we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the HanimeKai mobile application (the "Application").

By accessing or using the Application, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Service. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE APPLICATION AND MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

2. The HanimeKai Service

The Application is a FREE, informational guide and tracking tool for Japanese Anime and Chinese Donghua. The Service provides users with release schedules, detailed synopses, staff information, and original video reviews.

CRITICAL NOTICE: THE APPLICATION IS NOT A STREAMING SERVICE. We do not host, provide, or link to unauthorized copyrighted streaming content.

3. Mandatory User Registration

To access the core personalized features of the Application, specifically Bookmark Synchronization and Personalized Release Schedule Notifications, user registration is mandatory via a Google Account (Gmail).

You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your account password (if applicable) and are responsible for all use of your account and password.

4. Intellectual Property Rights (IP)

4.1. Our Content

All content within the HanimeKai Application, including all original review videos, application code, databases, design, text, graphics, and trademarks (excluding third-party copyrighted material), are owned by or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

4.2. Third-Party Content Disclaimer

The Application catalogs titles, characters, and key visuals related to Anime and Donghua. We do not claim ownership of this third-party copyrighted content. All copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property relating to these cataloged titles are the sole and exclusive property of their respective owners (e.g., production studios, publishers, licensors).

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the Application for any purpose other than that for which we make the Application available. Specifically, you agree not to:

Systematically retrieve data or other content from the Application to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory without written permission from us.
Make any unauthorized use of the Service, including collecting usernames and/or email addresses of users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email.
Use the Application to advertise or offer to sell goods and services.
Attempt to bypass any measures of the Application designed to prevent or restrict access to the Application, or any portion of the Application.
Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Application.

6. Termination and Account Deletion

6.1. Termination by User

You may terminate your account at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data via the self-service Account Deletion feature provided within the Application's settings menu or by contacting our support email.

6.2. Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms of Service, especially concerning Prohibited Activities (Section 5) or Intellectual Property infringement.

7. Disclaimers

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE APPLICATION.

WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY ANY VIRUSES OR TECHNOLOGICALLY HARMFUL MATERIAL THAT MAY INFECT YOUR MOBILE DEVICE DUE TO YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and your use of the Application are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia.
